Sir, your door is on fire.
First, it was Toyota and now Chrysler. When will the madness end? Last week, Chrysler made an announcement that they were recalling many of their minivans and Jeep Wranglers. Apparently, these models feature “doors that could catch fire, brakes that could fail, and accelerators that could stick”. It’s ironic that a minivan, the bona-fide mascot for family-friendly vehicles, would feature sliding doors that could erupt into flames as if it were a prop in a bad Kiss music video.
Chrysler has so graciously said that they will fix the recalled vehicles free of charge. But let’s be real. Do you really want to wait for the unveiling of another secret feature? Like we’ve said before, maybe it’s time to invest in a new car because you never know what else is wrong with a shoddily manufactured car. And because flaming doors are not a good look for your family.
